U7 Lindfield Cricket Skills Clinic

The U7 Lindfield Junior Skills clinic is the first step for most on their cricketing journey, run by Lindfield Senior Club players.

The clinic is for girls and boys, aged 5-6 years, who are new to cricket. The aim of the Lindfield Skills Clinic is to teach children basic cricket and general ball skills in a fun group environment.

Our clubs highly experienced and qualified coaches are there to guide parents, as well as the budding cricketers. No cricket knowledge is required on the part of players or parents to participate. Older players who are new to cricket or still developing their skills are also welcome.

WHEN:
Saturday mornings 8.00am to 9.15am
Starting: 14 October 2023 - February 2024 (12 week program)

WHERE:
Lindfield Oval, Tryon Rd, Lindfield

designed for girls and boys, 5-6 years old, in Kindergarten who are interested in playing cricket
during school terms over 12 x Saturday mornings from 8:00 - 9:15am, with rain washouts rescheduled
designed by club senior coaches
parents are required to interact with their child to complete activities
each session finishes with a selection of cricket based games
all players will receive training shorts, top and cap

Each week our coaches will focus on skill acquisition games for the first 45 minutes before breaking into smaller groups for a fun cricket match to end the session. Afterwards enjoy breakfast from the Lindfield BBQ.

The Lindfield Cricket Skills Clinic is an ideal way to introduce girls to cricket who will develop catching, hand eye and movement skills that is essential in other girls’ sports such as netball. If you are looking for an activity for the “off” season, the Lindfield Skills Clinic could be it.

Season registrations for 2023/24 will open in July/August!

Pricing information:

The player registration cost for season 2023/24 is $230
includes training shorts, top, and hat
you will be contacted by the club after registration on short and top sizing

Suitable for:

Girls & Boys, 5 - 6 Year old Kindergarten students

Age is calculated as at 30/08/2023

Season Dates:

October 23 - February 24
